Join us for one of our biggest summer traditions! For nearly 20 years FOFLA has been serving up smiles to keep these concerts free for the community. We need enthusiastic volunteers to help us run our legendary ice cream sundae and root beer float booth. No experience is required—just a friendly attitude!

Available Shifts & Responsibilities:

• Shift 1: Setup Crew (approx. 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM)

  • Help pitch the canopy tent, set up tables, and organize the ice cream station.

  • Best for: Anyone who likes a bit of light lifting and getting things organized before the crowds arrive.

• Shift 2: Serving Crew (approx. 6:45 PM – 8:30 PM)

Small bites and refreshments will be served. Guests 21+ will receive one free drink ticket.

Big Day Of Service is an Orangevale Fair Oaks Community Foundation (OVFOCF) program that brings together over a thousand volunteers to complete over 50 project in one day.

2026 will be the 8th year for the program and last year one of the projects was a cleanup of the FOVEC Parking Lot.

The parking lot has once again been submitted for cleanup.

The Board still needs to:

Vote on being a sponsor of BDOS.

Decide how actively to recruit volunteers for the event.
