Capture Fair Oaks Village History!

Tuesday, August 3rd @ 6:00 pm - Park buildings inside photo opportunity!  

Meet at Veteran’s Memorial Amphitheater

Take advantage of your chance to capture and share a part of Fair Oaks Village's history.  As you may have heard, The Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District is renovating the parks and buildings in Fair Oaks Village.  As such, the buildings we have known and loved for decades will be transformed.  FOVEC, along with the Historical Society is encouraging you to capture history by photographing these buildings.  Outside photos can be taken at any time before the demolition starts.  However, access to the inside will only be available on August 3rd, from 6:00-7:30 pm.  Simply come to the Veteran’s Memorial Amphitheater at 6:00 pm for access.

Photo Contest

Submit your photo to the FOVEC website to enter into a drawing for the best pre-renovation photos.  The winner will be chosen by the community via voting for photos online.  Check out the FOVEC website for more details.  www.fairoaksvillage.org.
