Big Day Of Service is an Orangevale Fair Oaks Community Foundation (OVFOCF) program that brings together over a thousand volunteers to complete over 50 project in one day.

2026 will be the 8th year for the program and last year one of the projects was a cleanup of the FOVEC Parking Lot.

The parking lot has once again been submitted for cleanup.

The Board still needs to:

Vote on being a sponsor of BDOS.

Decide how actively to recruit volunteers for the event.

Yesterday, FOVEC hosted our Volunteer and Sponsor Appreciation Celebration to honor those who dedicated themselves to our 2025 projects. While the night was about saying "thank you" to our team, it also served as a beautiful reminder of why our community is so unique.

Fair Oaks thrives on a spirit of cooperation. We would like to extend a special thank you to:
