Celebration at Sailor Bar
You are invited to a wonderful iconic celebration at Sailor Bar tomorrow, July 18th from 9:30 to 11:30 under the shade of the majestic oak tree in the Illinois Avenue large dirt parking lot across from the boat launch.
Please join us in showing our appreciation for the unsung hero's of the ONLY Federal and State Designated River running through an urban environment in that Nation! Right here in our own community!
This is going to be a fun event. Prizes will be awarded during the "All Things Wild and Scenic American River" Trivia Pursuit game. More prizes will be given for children and adults who play for the ring toss games! The first half of the event will be for the presentations and Trivia Pursuit game. The second half is the ice cream and cake and meet the hero's in person celebration!
There will be chairs available to sit on if you prefer, treats and water for the canine companions. The Friends of Sailor Bar are going all out to make this event one that we hope, will show our appreciation for the hero's who keep the American River safe, clean and wild and scenic. Please help us to make this successful with your being a part of it.
