We’re putting together a Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) Celebration in Fair Oaks Village on Saturday, October 28th—and we’d love your help!
We’ll be teaming up with Wild Runners to extend the fun after their morning run by keeping the road closed, inviting merchants to create specials, and adding activities that encourage visitors to stay, eat, shop, and explore the Village.

If we are going to do this, we need a leader who is going to be our primary point of contact for questions and future meetings
Before we go to far with planning this I think we need to talk with some of the other merchants to see if they are interested in helping make this happen. It should be a great opporutnity for the restaurants and shops, but the the hair salons will probably be against closing the street longer
If we promote sidewalk activities, do we need to close the street?
When the group has agreed on what you want to do, I would like to create event pages on our Website and Facebook to be as inclusive as possible
We should target having a proper announcement in time for next Live Update as that will be our best chance to attract new volunteers
